Hi Samantha, I wanted to thank you again for your understanding yesterday and your very quick resolution. You are a keeper and Chevrolet is lucky to have you! Just seeing you and hearing your calm voice really took the stress out of me and I appreciate anyone who can do that for me so quickly and with such charisma. I had a long conversation with my husband regarding this car yesterday and he has agreed with me about taking my service requirements to Forbes next door. You are the main reason for that. You started my thought process with your excellent customer service. The guy who painted the chip helped yesterday as well, what was his name again? Will you thank him for me again, please? I’m writing to tell you how very satisfied I am with your service.  Recently I experiences a traffic accident, a minor one, but at almost eighty years of age, even a minor accident is a major event!  I was rear-ended at a traffic light.  I was totally shocked, but after exchanging information with the person who hit me, I drove home, and telephone David Lippert, my service advisor, at your dealership.  David’s first question regarding my health, and possible injuries was reassuring, and comforting, he suggested I bring the vehicle in for the body shop to check it out.  David recognized the damage to my vehicle and immediately called Ray Lavoie to give me an estimate of the repair cost.  The repairs were made the following week, and to my surprise, my vehicle was completely cleaned as well!  I was so happy to see my repaired vehicle, I wanted to hug it!  I’m sure this is all routine to you, but for me, now widowed, with no partner to phone to help me through a traumatic event, the whole experience with Forbes was over and above what I expected.  Thank you for the wonderful service you provide.  My husband and I purchased this 2010 Equinox from Schleuters, but I am so happy to have transferred to Forbes! My husband recently purchased his "dream vehicle" - a 2017 Chevy Camaro SS from Matt Martin at Forbes GMC. Matt was absolutely amazing to us!! He went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered (never taking longer than a few hours to get back to us) and made sure that my husband was satisfied with his purchase. For example, my husband wanted black rims but we didn't initially order them - after speaking with Matt he was able to get these added on for us even though it was a month later. We were extremely impressed with how knowledgeable, up front and honest Matt was. When the car arrived, he even helped me surprise my husband with it. I would recommend Matt to anyone and am so thankful he was able to help my husband get his dream car! Thank you Matt!

I never bought my vehicle from Forbes but I have been in for service now many times. The service department is always friendly. Grant has always been good and fair to deal with. The place is always clean and professional. The service drivers are excellent. Parts department is great and know what they are talking about. I recommend Forbes Motors. Hello, We currently own a 2014 Equinox that we purchased at your dealership.  We have an extended warranty and service there regularly.  A few weeks ago we purchased a 2013 Equinox and, since I already deal with you for service, decided to have the oil changed and some warranty work done at your dealership on the 2013 we purchased.  While we were there we decided to investigate having some additional body work done.   This being said, I just wanted to send you this email to let you know how pleased I was.  We dealt with both the young lady at the counter and Ray Lavoie.  They were both extremely pleasant but Ray, in particular, went out of his way taking the time to explain things and see that we were taken care of. Thursday June 30, I brought my Mazda 3-2004 into Waterloo Forbes service department for an A/C repair. The original compressor was down and a new one had to be installed to make my car available for a comfortable drive to USA, for the very next day. This amazing group of people, John Ziegler,(general manager), Caleb Fisher, (the service advisors), Don, (the shuttle driver whom I had a nice and friendly conversation with) and the mechanic who has done the repair, all together proved what the real professionalism is. During my life, I had to go trough quite a few cars repairs and in many countries, (Romania, Greece, Germany, USA and Canada, -BC, Qc, Ontario), before and I was more or less satisfied with the services I have gotten but the attention , I was given, the sincere willingness to help, the efforts this group put into solving my problems on my terms and the quality of work done, have been unique/ not yet met by another car service. I usually don't write reviews but although these people deserve more than just these simple words of appreciation, I felt that I have to present them in this format also beside all my many thanks, my respect and consideration. Joe, Caleb, Don and you, the invisible mechanic from behind the good job done, keep doing this excellent work. You will bring Waterloo Mazda to a higher quality level, I am sure about that. Treating people like yourselves want to be treated is obviously a receipt what you have adopted and put in practice. I wish, your example will be follow by other cars services as well and we, the customers will go trough this kind of services more relaxed and with confidence. We did have to adjust the model slightly to allow for some critical options to be included. This was a shortcoming of the build system of the GM website and once sorted out the car was delivered.

GREAT, GREAT job!!!! Keep up doing the good job! Don is amazing, very patient, and with a great sense not to miss any details! Jody is the greatest on her area of expertise! I told Jody personally, after the transaction was done, how impress I was the way she explain to me all the details! She is unique! Chris is where he must be! I had a Chevrolet Cavalier from 1996 which I almost cried when I had to give it away, not because it didn't run anymore. It run go nice, so powerful, so good on gas! But it was the rust from the salt from so many winters, my mechanic sad won't change my tires because of how rusty my old car became. But with the new Cruze, I have no doubts that this is what I supposed to do, this is the best decision I have to make!

Manni is a wonderful salesperson. Very thorough and not the least bit pushy. I wanted a hatchback. I told him I was interested in the Trax LS. That's what I test drove. That's what I bought. There was no pressure to purchase the LT, an Equinox or a Traverse. I've had some very negative experiences as a single woman buying a car. No problems whatsoever here. Everyone at the dealership was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I had an overall great experience purchasing my car. Just to let you know, Today was the first big snow since I got the car. It performed beyond my expectations. Did not skid where I thought it might, and the ABS went on when they were supposed to (haven't had ABS for 10 years and missed it immensely).. Liking my Trax very much!!!!!

In 2014 my family purchased 3 vehicles from Forbes and dealt specifically with Brent Flanagan (hope I spelt his last name correctly). We were extremely impressed with his ability to relate to us, educate us and provide an end to end positive relationship. He's the reason why I moved to GM. This day and age with the amount of competition out there, price is comparable but what the difference will be is and will always come down to Customer Service. It's not a small purchase regardless of the vehicle you choose so in my humble opinion the front line individual representing the company is the difference maker. He was fantastic, I'd also like to say that Jodie (finance manager) was a joy to work with when discussing financing etc. she was extremely easy to talk to and made the process seamless. From management down we were extremely impressed and it exceeded our expectations. I'm happy to be with GM now and go forward. I look forward to future business with Brent F./Forbes GM. Thank you..

My husband and I just went into Forbes to look at our options and to get a quote on our car to trade in. We ended up making a deal that day. Doug Moser greeted us and worked with us. He was so easy to to talk to and we never once felt pressured into buying. He listened to our needs and worked with us trying to get the best deal for our car we wanted to trade in. He also took his time with us to compare different models, packages etc to find a leasing price that we could afford and felt comfortable with. The day we picked up our 2015 Acadia, he had it all ready for us, went through the paper work, then showed us around the building and introduced us to the service manager etc. He helped us set up the OnStar and Bluetooth and showed us all the buttons etc. It was a pleasure working with Doug and we highly recommend him and Forbes to anyone. He even called a few days later to see how we were doing and liking the new ride! Great service!!

Both the salesman Jody Warnock, and the financial person Jodie were excellent. I looked at other dealers for different models of cars and I can honestly say that Forbes was by far the best and Jody did not pressure me at all to purchase other models or accessories. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. WILL DEFINITELY BUY FROM HIM AGAIN!! (At another, closer, GM dealership the salesperson left me alone for almost 1/2 hr. while he went to talk to other customers on the floor even though I told him what I wanted to buy and I was ready to make a deal right then)

Hi Wes, just want to say thanks for the excellent service we are receiving from you and your team at Forbes Motors re the issues we are experiencing with our recently purchased 2008 Cadillac EXT.. After dealing with our first incident last Monday (wheel bearing issue in Collingwood) Manni Birhanu provided us with his personal cell phone number and said to contact him any time of the day or night should we require further assistance. When we called him last night after hours he immediately jumped into action again on his own time to ensure our needs were met. Wes this gesture itself speaks very highly of Manni Birhanu as a sales representative for Forbes Motors, I am a firm believer that any company is only as good as its employee’s and it is clear that Forbes Motors puts customer service first. Just a line to commend the exceptional service I received from Kevin Sholdice, when I was at your dealership yesterday. I needed a set of keys cut for my Chev Impala, purchased from Schlueter Chev Olds, and called your dealership yesterday morning. I bought a new 2011 Buick Regal from Forbes in September. As a professional female my previous buying experiences have never been that positive. The first time I visited Forbes though that all changed. They were so friendly and thorough in their presentation and there was such a nice atmosphere in their facility it was really refreshing. The sales rep introduced me to a manager the first time I was in and instead of trying to push the purchase he wanted to make sure all my questions were answered and even suggested I take the Regal home overnight to be sure it was the car for me. I don't normally write reviews but in the case of Forbes I wanted to highly recommend them as a place to buy a vehicle. I cannot say enough about how good my experience was from my first visit until I picked up my new car and the positive experience continued when I had my first service appointment. My family has purchased cars from all three Forbes dealership multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The service departments at Toyota and GM have always been extremely helpful whether it be booking early/late appointments and never trying to oversell us anything. Forbes Motors has always been an excellent dealership that is easy to deal with in every department. I have personally used all three major depts, Sales, Sevice, and Body Shop. They are friendly to deal with and very knowledgeable. I recently purchased a chevy Sonic and was very happy that I didn't have to deal with the "other" dealership up the road that recently dissapeared. Forbes has been there every step of the way from back when I purchased my first car in 2002, a van in 2009 and right up until today. We love our vehicles and our service. Anyone writing on here saying a negative comment really should've expressed their "concerns" with the dealership at that point in time as I know it would've been resolved. I can't believe the BS (pardon my language) that I read on here. Forbes is the ONLY dealership to deal with. Way to go Forbes..you still are #1 as always

First let me start of by saying, I am thrilled with the excellent customer service I received at Forbes Motors in Waterloo. The Sales Rep. I dealt with was Manni Birhanu. At this point, I had been to a few different dealerships and dealt with many Sales Reps, but I knew just from entering into Forbes that my experience was going to be different. From my first visit to the dealership, to the day I picked up my car, there was a genuine care, dedication and professionalism that Manni had while he helped me choose the right vehicle for me. I was particularly interested in a 2013 Chevy Cruze. It needed to have low KM and be any colour other than red and brown. Beyond this, I wasn't too Concerned about all the extras. Manni was amazing! He listened to my needs and what I was looking for in a car . He made sure that all my requests were met and then some, while still making sure I purchased a reliable, safe, and reasonably priced vehicle. As a first time car owner, it's sometimes stressful not knowing what kind of car to purchase and what to look for in a good quality vehicle. Manni was awesome! He took the time, even on his day off, to go over every detail with me and made sure that I understood every aspect of my new vehicle inside and out! I really felt like he cared about me and my concerns as if he was the one purchasing the car. I felt comfortable and relaxed during the entire process. Can I say too, that as an added bonus I was presented with flowers on the final day of my purchase! I can't say I've ever been to a dealership where they shower you with a gift. Hands down, the experience I had purchasing a car with Manni at Forbes has been nothing shy of wonderful! I would highly recommend buying a vehicle from Forbes. Be sure you ask for Manni!

I just wanted to express how much I enjoyed great customer experience and professionalism from the purchase of my first car Cadillac CTS at Forbes Motors. Originally from Toronto I came to Waterloo being sick and tired of Toronto’s car dealerships attitude. Since I first contacted Forbes Motors I became a delighted customer who now knows how an outstanding service looks like. Manni Birhanu who is sales and leasing consultant was the ultimate professional throughout all process of buying our first car in Canada. He communicated with me clearly and honestly focused on my needs and worries. I was extremely pleased that Manni and Ross gave me a full disclosure of the car history and maintenance. Compared to many Toronto dealerships, professionals from Forbes Motors were more than willing to tell me everything about car previous history and maintenance. They even printed me the list of replacements and other services which were done at Forbes Motors during the whole period when the previous owner serviced his car. My Cadillac was in an immaculate condition, but still Manni was more than eager to fix everything that I asked. Our buying experience at Forbes was fantastic, we were picked up at the bus station and my wife was impressed and pleased with the beautiful bouquet of red roses from the Forbes when we have had keys from our red Cadillac. The customer service was excellent and flawless. Compared with other dealerships we were treated with respect and compassion and it helped to thaw out our tension and anxiety related to buying our first car. All two times when we visited Forbes Motors Manni immediately supplied us with a replacement car to go around Waterloo or just simply to go to the local cafeteria. All two times when we visited Forbes dealership Manny filled the whole tank of gas for our car. He was able to find a winter set of tires even though Cadillac has all season ones. I just want to thank Forbes Motors for not only delivering a great car, but also for creating agreat experience for all my family. I highly recommend Forbes Motors to anyone who wants to buy a car and I will definitely be referring family and friends. It is not the closest dealer for Torontonians, but the way we were treated convinced me that I want to buy my next car at Forbes Motors!

Picked up my new vehicle a couple of weeks ago.This is the 3rd or 4th vehicle that my family has purchased through Manni Birhanu-Sales &Leasing rep. He has been extremely helpful to me and to my family over the years and always answers all of my questions in a timely manner. I recently purchased a GMC Sierra from Brent Flanagan down at Forbes and every single experience I've had along the way has been painless, straightforward, honest, and at times even fun. My vehicle came GM certified and it’s been no hassle to bring it in, even for the smallest thing, Brent made sure everything was done right. I run my own roofing company and when tragedy befell my business I came to Mr. Flanagan in dire need of a reliable reasonably priced truck, and I needed it yesterday. Brent made that happen, literally, this guy actually has a time machine....I’m joking, however Brent did make sure I had everything I needed to keep my business going, and feeding my family. When I bring my vehicle in for any type of service, they treat me as though my vehicle is just as important as their vehicle, and their service staff is friendly and informative. We've all heard the horror stories of car dealers, and we all feel apprehensive about purchasing something so grand from a complete stranger....well let me introduce you to my friend, Brent Flanagan down at Forbes. I can’t speak for the rest of the car salesmen out there but I can speak for Brent and his team, and he isn't a car sales man...he is a man, involved in the sale of cars.....and trucks......and probably minivans.......Trust him, I do.

With Mom so ill, she cannot be left alone and the fact that you were able to send the shuttle back for Dad so quickly went beyond my expectations. Manni is a wonderful salesperson. Very thorough and not the least bit pushy. I wanted a hatchback. I told him I was interested in the Trax LS. That's what I test drove. That's what I bought. There was no pressure to purchase the LT, an Equinox or a Traverse. I've had some very negative experiences as a single woman buying a car. No problems whatsoever here. Everyone at the dealership was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I had an overall great experience purchasing my car. Just to let you know, Today was the first big snow since I got the car. It performed beyond my expectations. Did not skid where I thought it might, and the ABS went on when they were supposed to (haven't had ABS for 10 years and missed it immensely).. Liking my Trax very much!!!!!

In 2014 my family purchased 3 vehicles from Forbes and dealt specifically with Brent Flanagan (hope I spelt his last name correctly). We were extremely impressed with his ability to relate to us, educate us and provide an end to end positive relationship. He's the reason why I moved to GM. This day and age with the amount of competition out there, price is comparable but what the difference will be is and will always come down to Customer Service. It's not a small purchase regardless of the vehicle you choose so in my humble opinion the front line individual representing the company is the difference maker. He was fantastic, I'd also like to say that Jodie (finance manager) was a joy to work with when discussing financing etc. she was extremely easy to talk to and made the process seamless. From management down we were extremely impressed and it exceeded our expectations. I'm happy to be with GM now and go forward. I look forward to future business with Brent F./Forbes GM. Thank you..
